Psychology Corner New Feature: Psychology Answers via E-mail

After almost a year of activity and more than 10.000 visits, Psychology Corner wants to thank all our readers by introducing a new feature to the blog. Starting today, our team will provide answers and support via e-mail.

If you need any sort of guidance regarding the field of psychology/psychotherapy, feel free to send us an e-mail at psychologycorner@gmail.com and we will try to provide the answers you need in the shortest time.

First steps towards well-being can be made by asking yourself simple questions like “What is that I feel right now?”, “How can I manage my mood?”, “Am I the only person that feels something like this in such situations?”, “Do I have to feel sad or is there a way to turn my sadness into a more pleasant feeling or something I can deal better with?”

I am sure my dear readers can continue this list. I can tell that by the keywords and phrases that have been searched on this blog over the past year too: “How can I understand my child better ?”, “Being lonely”, “Signs of depression”, “Development stages”, “Labeling people”, “Neurons after a stroke”, “I need help with an APA paper on intelligence” and so on. When I see this kind of keywords that have been searched on my blog, most of the time I feel like providing a feedback to the person that hit the “Search” button.

So if you get stuck at any point in your journey and feel that myself, the Psychology Corner team or someone else near you can help unblock the road in front of you, feel free to initiate contact.

Remember you are in charge when it comes to providing your own happiness.

Best wishes,

Lucia Grosaru

P.S. For the reader that searched “I need help with an APA style paper on intelligence”. This link may be of help when writing a scientific paper in APA format: APA Formatting and Style Guide.

We also need to state that this is only a way of getting in touch with a psychologist/team of psychologists and get their personal opinion on diverse subjects and it is not the equivalent of psychotherapy sessions / psychiatric assessment or any sort of therapy or evaluation.
